HARE – LEPRE

Common name of the leporid mammals of the lepre, part. of the lepus Europeus, up to 70 cm long, with long ears, short and thick fur, gray-reddish on the back, white on the belly, raised tail and resting on the back, longer rear limbs from the front.

Symbol of speed in running, caution or suspicious shyness. Below the hare is not running but jumping.
